The WCM emblem is a burning candle in a globe surrounded by two olive branches. The globe depicts the world map—an area of concern for WCM in achieving its main purpose: commemorating victims, restoring the dignity of those stripped of it, and healing communities most affected. The candle represents light in a dark world, a quest for the truth, and the light education can provide. The olive branch symbolizes WCM’s commitment to the United Nations’ work to attain world peace.
